2 months agoThe flavors this food truck serves up are nothing short of amazing. Just happened to be at the tire place next door and was looking for the closest food before going home. Showed up expecting to order the steamed chicken momo, but was curious about the buffalo and what an experience. I’m stopping here as often as I can any time I’m in Fairfax.

2 months agoSome of the boldest, meatiest momos I've had in years. We got the chicken and beef momos steamed, but you can also get them fried or in chili sauce. They were expertly pleated, delightfully thin, and were stuffed to near bursting with meaty filling. The seasoning used in the filling is uniquely Nepalese -- an addictive combination of strong Himalayan flavors like garam masala and cumin, combined with more eastern flavors like green onion and cilantro. Despite how tasty these were, the sauce was the star for me -- an addictive combination of savory, tangy, aromatic, creamy, and slightly sweet that I dipped each dumpling.. and then some baos we were having.. and then my fingers into 😋 We will definitely get those again! I recommend ordering in advance if you can, as the order can take a bit of time to cook, and there isn't much in the way of parking near the stall.

4 months agoI absolutely loved the chicken jhol momo, buff momo, chowmein, and sausage here. The food has such an authentic Nepali taste, and everything was just as delicious as it looked in the pictures. The stuffing in the chicken momo was so flavorful, and the buff momo was really juicy, which made it even more delicious with the authentic jhol. The sausage is coated with special spices that make it taste even better, and with the sauce it tastes amazing. The chowmein is also very flavorful and really well made.

4 months agoTried momo from a Nepali food truck in Virginia today and it was amazing! 🇳🇵✨ The momo was so juicy and delicious that it instantly reminded me of Nepal. The flavor, the spices, and the warmth of the food felt just like home. It’s not easy to find authentic Nepali taste in the U.S., but they really nailed it. If you’re in Virginia and craving real Nepali momo, you should definitely give this place a try! 🥟🔥

5 months agoI absolutely love visiting this place. The food here always takes me back home in Nepal. It’s incredibly delicious and very flavorful. It’s definitely a must-visit. The sausage is always exceptional, and they got buff mo:mo now, which is definitely worth trying. The mixed chowmein is the standout dish. Highly recommended!

9 months agoTapari Momo — A Taste That Took Me Straight Back to Kathmandu Momo — something every Nepali searches for wherever they go. After being in the States for over 6–7 years, I’ve tried countless places, but none ever truly satisfied that craving… until now. Tapari Momo completely exceeded my expectations. With my first bite, I felt like the food critic from Ratatouille — instantly transported back to my childhood memories of home. Their jhol momo is perfectly juicy, balanced, and bursting with authentic Nepali spices. The sausage has that true Kathmandu-style flavor — smoky, hearty, and full of nostalgia. And the lassi? Just right — not too sweet, wonderfully refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. Their slogan, “From the Streets of Kathmandu, to your plate” couldn’t be more fitting. Tapari Momo doesn’t just serve food — it serves memories.

This vibrant food truck serves bold, authentic Nepali street food from juicy momo to spicy chow mein and crispy snacks where every bite packed with exotic flavour. Totally Authentic, fast, and full of heart. Definitely a must-try in Fairfax!
